Accepted Payment Methods
Jano currently accepts manual payment review through the Telebirr and CBE transfer details shown at checkout. Payment instructions are controlled by Jano operations and may change over time.
Payment Reference
When checkout creates a Jano payment reference, use it in the transfer note or reference field if your payment method allows it. This helps Jano match your transfer to your order.
Submitting Payment Details
After transfer, return to Jano and submit the transaction reference and transfer date. You may also add a note or receipt image if requested by operations.
Approval
An order is not ready for fulfillment until Jano approves the payment. If the reference is unclear, incomplete, duplicated, or does not match the expected amount, Jano may request correction, reject the payment submission, or cancel the order.
ETB Only
All storefront prices and manual payment totals are in Ethiopian Birr. Jano does not support foreign currency checkout in v1.
Delivery
Delivery is initially available for supported Addis Ababa areas. Delivery timing depends on payment approval, stock availability, address clarity, dispatch capacity, and courier availability.
Pickup
Pickup may be offered from Jano's configured pickup point. Pickup orders still require payment approval before release.
Customer Responsibility
You are responsible for entering accurate contact, area, subcity, and landmark details. Delivery delays or failed delivery caused by inaccurate information may require additional coordination.
Status Updates
Order and payment status can be viewed in your Jano account. Jano may add email, phone, or other notifications later, but account status remains the source of truth inside the storefront.
